Body Island received funding from Creative NZ toward ‘Te Hā Te Kā’ - a development project creating a series of dance duets between Taane Mete and Nancy Wijohn. The aim was to create a body of work to include video dance, still photography and live choreography.
At this stage we have developed 6 films and images that connect to them, with plans for the live component in the future.

Feel free to browse and choose what resonates with you, listen with head phones if you can. Each film can be found when you scroll down to the bottom of the page. They also can be watched one a day with a day of rest at the end.
